Happy Halloween trick or treat

Hello Everyone!
I have been super busy with wedding plans and visiting family recently. I haven't had time to update my blog! I have been making some projects though.

Here is a card for Halloween that I made. I used some $1 stamps from Michaels for the little images. The paper is from a My Mind's Eye 6x6 pad, haunted. I coloured the images in lightly with Promarkers and copics as well. The ribbon is also from Michaels, one of the little bobbin ones.

Happy crafting!

Guest blogger: Mike's Oofie Page

Hey, this is Mike, and it's my first post at Scrapbooking by Jess! I am Jess's fiancee, and we'll be getting married this October. Our honeymoon is going to be in Paris next spring, so don't be surprised if you see lots of Paris-themed layouts on this blog in the next little while.

Jess bought me some scrapbooking supplies for my birthday, and I used some to make a page about our new puppy, Alfie. If you want to see what he learned in puppy class last Saturday, check out this YouTube video!

Anyway, here is my first publicly-blogged scrapbook layout!

Cards to save Cats

Tuesday, September 04, 2012 0 Comments A+ a-

Hello everyone,

Today's posting is a call for help from all you crafters out there.  Where I live there is a shortage of rescues for cats.  The rescues that there are here do not have enough resources to help the cats they have already never mind accept new ones.

What I am hoping to do is raise enough money but selling cards to help those animals. This is very close to my heart because currently I am helping to find a home for two adult cats whose owner has terminal cancer and not much time left. She is very anxious about what is going to happen to her cats.

What I need from my readers are cards, any sort of cards. And of course awareness.  I don't have a lot of followers, so I also need you to help me create awareness of this issue. I know that by the time I can do anything to help these rescues it may be too late for those cats, but there is always going to be more problems like this that happen and nowhere to turn to.

Anyone who wishes to help can contact me directly and I will give you the information needed.

Thank you for helping!

Chewing on Everything

Here is a layout of my puppy chewing on various things that he finds.

Very simple layout. Some layering of paper. You can save some paper by layering pieces on either side on the photos and not using a whole big piece.

Enjoy!
