Hello everyone!

I made this really simple and easy little thank you card. I think that it could also be used for a birthday card though. I just happen to need to add some thank you cards to my stash.

I  cut the pie out using Simply Charmed. I believe it was cut around 3.5-4 inches. So it is a larger cut. If you wanted a smaller cut you could use elegant edges to make a mat to put it on too!

Then I stamped the thank you onto some blue cardstock and cut a banner end on it.

Added some stickles and I was done!

A very easy simple little card that would be perfect for a mass producing card if you need one!

Happy Crafting.

Friendship (coffee) card

Hello crafters!

Today I wanted to share this card that I made with all of you.
I made this card as part of a set someone requested of me. It's for an invitation to have coffee. I used the Cricut to cut out both images seen below. A Child's Year was the cartridge I used.
It's a good example of how that cartridge can be used for things other than children. ( I don't have any children)

I don't remember what I cut the images at. I can tell you that I used fit to length to cut out the word though to be sure that it would fit.
I made the card into a long card base. I believe the measurements are 4.25 x 8.5 to fit into a legal envelope size. I think it's called letter size 10 envelope.
I had run out of the A2 sized envelopes and could not find my little triangle piece for my score board to make the right sized envelopes. So I improvised and created something different which turned out to be a challenge for me and something new to try!

I just want to mention that I think this card would work great for a birthday card too!

Happy creating!

Hello Crafters!

I created this card for my Grandparents anniversary. I wanted something simple but that makes a statement.

I used the cricut cartridge Tie the Knot. I cut the image at 4.5 inches. I used silver and pink for the colors. Then for some added bling I chose some pearls and covered the pink heart with some glitter glue.

My goal for this was to keep the card very simple with there only being one big focal image point on it. I think that this card turned out very well for what I was imagining it to  be.

Cricut Expression

Hello everyone!
We are moved into our new place now! That means I have a whole (almost) room to myself for scrapping!!! (I have to share a little bit with my fiancé for his computer)

Unfortunately my Cricut did not survive the move. It will not cut anymore:( BUT there IS good news! I bought a new one! It was on clearance at WalMart for $98!! Can you believe it?!?

It is the yellow expression. Yellow is not my favourite, but at that price who can be picky?

I just wanted to share that with all of you!
