Wedding Wednesday: Family Photos

Back again with another wedding layout!

This layout was made using some Dear Lizzy paper, and some Teresa Collins paper, you are my happy collection.

The chipboard word is from Simple Stories. I am not sure which collection it is from. I bought the package on sale at my LSS and I didn't really pay attention to where it was from or anything like that.

Some stickers from Carta Bella and a circle cut from patterned paper.

I chose those word grain tile stickers because of the photos. I thought they went really well together.

That's all for now! I hope this inspires you to get your wedding photos scrapped!

Have a scrappy day!

Best Friends

Hello everyone!
This post has a lot of pictures in it. I am trying to take more pictures and from different angles to show any dimension or texture that is on the layout. I don't know how this will show through on the photos themselves but that is my reasoning behind all the photos.

This is a picture that my mom sent me of my niece and my mom's dog Rocket. Rocket has been on my blog lots before! I'm not sure if Casandra has though.
I just loved this picture of the two of them. Casandra really loves dogs and Rocket just lets her climb all over him and sleep on his bed. They are so cute together!

The paper is from 5th and Frolic, it's from a paper pad that I bought a long time ago. I recently got it out along with a bunch of others to attempt to use them up.  Therefore this pad will be featured in a few posts in the next little bit!

The letter stickers are from 12x12 element sticker sheets. I'm sorry I don't know what they are. I recently went to my LSS and bought a bunch of them that were on sale for 50% off. I am not sure what stickers are from each of the sheets.

I used some frames from a the paper pad (or another Dear Lizzy pad) that I had cut out and layered around the photo. I have been trying to keep my scrapbooking simple and fast lately as I don't have a lot of time to focus on scrapping.

The blue tab on the side of the layers is from one of those sticker sheets. I think a lot of these embellishments are stickers.
What I have been doing is working with limited supplies so that I can use up my paper stash better! I have also been scrapping intermittently with my school work to take breaks. That is also why I have a limited supply stash. I keep it next to my school desk on the floor so I can scrap when I get stuck on problems!

Thanks for stopping by and feel free to comment and ask questions!
Have a scrappy day!

Baptism 5

Hi everyone!
Today's layout I made a really long time ago and I don't quite remember where I got all the supplies from. If you have any questions about a particular item I will do some looking into it for you!

I do know that the butterfly paper is Hedi Swapp color magic paper and it's the purple spray that I used on it. Those crad looking embellishments are from Close to my Heart. They aren't actually brads, they are flat backed.

Anyway, it's a different colour combination. Something a little different. It looks like it's showing up more pink in the picture, it is really more purple.

Thanks for visiting!

Engagement Day

Hi everyone!
Since all my pictures were down I thought I would add one the old way by uploading it directly to my blog. I am not sure if this will work as I have never tried it before.

This is a page that I created out of die cuts by Teresa Collins from the Posh line. The die cuts are all pink and black so that is where I got the inspiration for this page. I wanted to challenge myself a bit and use something that I hadn't really experimented with before and that is the borders. I love the look of borders but I haven't really played with them like this before.

I love the way that this page came out. Pink and purple are my favourite colours! I used the Slice wedding cartridge to create the 'ring'.

This page is about the day that I got engaged, which was August 24th 2010. That is a picture of my ring but I didn't get that until later in the month. Actually I think it was September that I finally got my ring back from the jewelers.
