Purrfect always together kitties

Hello everyone!

Here is another layout that I made. This one uses the cricut though!! Exciting! I haven't been using the cricut as much recently, I am trying to use up other stuff that I have before making more embellishments with my cricut.

I used Create a Critter for this one and cut out the kitty and the phrase. The kitty is cut at 4 1/2 inches and the phrase is cut at 1 1/2 inches.

I used some brads and a leftover journalling block title. I rounded the corners with my little ek success small rounder.

This layout is fun! Plus I used up some leftover kit pieces that I have had for a while. Forget what they are from though.

Happy creating!

This cart is awesome! I don't have kids but I use it all the time. It has a great font on it and so many different images. What I really love about this is that there are girls and boys for each image to choose from!
This cart has images for all the major times of the year, it's definitely a good one to start out with!

I love this book! It has scrapbooking and cards in it. There are ideas for every event for the whole year! This would be a great book if you are doing project life or any of those other challenges. This book really covers everything.
It also has tips on how to get the same look as the people who made those pages. This book is a really good investment for all those scrapbookers out there.

Hello!!

This layout I literally just threw together using some scraps of a kit collection that I got a while ago. The paper is My Mind's Eye Lost and Found two. I used my leftover element stickers with it as well.
For some colour contrast I added some red, purple and teal.

I didn't use any cricut cuts, I did use my Martha Stewart butterfly punch though. And some punched flowers that I had lying around. The brad is from a different My Mind's Eye collections, I am not sure which one. I wanted it to add some colour into the layout because when I first thought I was done there was a whole lot of yellow on the page.

Enjoy!

Cricut Cart Review:

Monday, February 13, 2012 0 Comments A+ a-

This is by far my absolute favourite cart for Christmas and Winter! I love it to bits. I used it so much this past holiday season!
There is everything that you would need on here for cards and layouts.
The only negative thing (sort of) is that the words need to be cut out large so that those delicate parts don't rip so they aren't so good for cards. They look great on layouts though!

The Close Up

Hello again!
This layout is one of my favourites that I have made to date!! It's not anything fancy or uses a lot of products. I just really love how it came together and how it all looks.

I wanted to use orange as my background sheet because I never use that colour and my cat in the picture is orange. I also knew that I wanted to use blue because of the blue walls in the pictures. I decided to use that gingham paper and round the corners of it. Then because I was trying to stay simple and clean on this layout I just decided to use a plain card stock to tone the gingham down a bit. I chose yellow.

Then I added the title. I didn't have enough alphas in any of those fonts to make the complete title but I really like how it turned out with the white and black and the teal sparkle thickers.

Hope that you like it!

Here is another quick and simple layout that I made. I used a circle die cut from the Fly a Kite collection and a Dusty Attic laser die cut for embellishment.
Since the photos were so big that was all I did for this layout. I didn't want to make it cluttered.

Hoep you like it!

Hello.

Today I have an even simpler layout to share with you! It took me all of 20 minutes to complete! I was trying to do one of the challenges in my book that I have and it was to make a layout in 30 minutes, but mine came together in 20!

There isn't a lot to explain on this layout. I wanted the font to show through in the pattern paper so I left a lot of white space so it could be read.

Have fun crafting!

This cart is not one of my favourites, but it does have a lot of great stuff on it. I use it with my gypsy so that I can' hide the smiles on all the cuts. I do like the shapes and images that is on it.
This would be a great cart for someone just starting out because it has shapes on it for all year round. Lots of good ideas here!

Hello!

I made part of this layout a while ago. I had the pink on the black for some time and never finished it. The pink is cut out using elegant edges. I was playing around with it one day and made this and then just left it for a long time.

I decided that i was going to put pictures of my kitten on it from when we first got her. She is only 6 weeks old in these pictures and sooo cute! She is much bigger now too.

I used some scraps to bring in some colour from the photos. I also used my new ek success layer punch in the butterfly shape. I still haven't gotten it to work properly, but I am trying.

This layout is pretty simple, other than the circut cut piece, but you could use something else to achieve the same look.

It's a good example of finishing something that you started a long time ago!

Happy creating!
