Scrapbook Getting Sketchy in January
I found this challenge over at Scrapping Everyday Miracles and thought that I would give it a try too. I have never really been all that good about scrap lifting layouts from sketches, but I think that this one turned out great!Here are some pictures of it, including some shots of the details on the page.
I knew that I wanted my journaling to be a quote, so I chose one of my favourite book/movie quotes. If you can't read it, it's "...you have bewitched me body and soul, and I love...I love...I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on." It's by Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice.
The pictures are of me and my fiancé, we really are best friends. Also I didn't use the cricut for this layout! Usually I add something from it, although I did use butterflies, and those DO end up in my layouts a lot!
On that note, I really want to get the border punch by Martha Stewart that makes butterflies!
