Hello!

After getting annoyed with the little houses I switched to making these cards. They are just a plain white card base in 5x7 and then I cut a piece of patterned paper at 4.5x6.5 for the background. 

Then I decorated them as I wanted. I did use the same stamp on all of them and the same mailbox cut out from the Doodlecharms cartridge.

I made this really easy card because I have some grandmother stickers kicking around that I wanted to use.

I cut out the dragonfly from the doodlecharms cartridge using my Cricut.

I think it was cut out around 2 3/4 inches. Maybe a bit bigger I don't remember sorry!

Then I added a fun piece of bright yellow ribbon that has bees on it. I thought it went well with the dragon fly. I added a face and some white detailing to make it really pop out!

Here is another easy card that I made for my fiancee just because, but it would be great for Valentine's Day too.

I cut out the heart card from the doodlecharms cartridge and the little heart on it as well. I believe it was cut out at 3 inches.

I then made the background more interesting by stamping the image of a heart in light pink ink all over it. 

The card was made from an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet cut in half and folded. 

That's all there is to it!

Hi everyone!

Here is a quick and easy way to make a birthday card using your Cricut. I used the Doodlecharms cartridge for this.



I cut out a cupcake at 3 inches and all the layers. I glued them together using my ATG and zig 2-way glue pen.

The card is an 81/2 x 11 sheet cut in half and folded. 

I then cut a piece of patterned paper so that is was smaller than the card. (This is a great way to use up scraps from scrapbook layouts!)
I added some bling using glitter glue and Martha Stewart glitter pens. 

I added a piece of ribbon using Robyn's cheater method and popped up the cupcake with some pop dots. 

That is all! Now it's all ready for a stamp or a personalized message inside. 

Hello there!

I recently got a Cricut Expression. It is very exciting for me because this is something that I have been wanting to get for a while now. I have a Slice which is great for small things, but the Cricut can really make your pages come to life. I have only been using it for a little while now, I just got it a couple days ago.

I have two cartridges for it and a few more on the way in the mail to me. Currently I have Doodlecharms and Plantin Schoolbook. Both are really great. Doodlecharms has a lot of little creatures in it and something for every season. It also has some Christmas and Easter cuts on it as well as baby things.

So far I really enjoy using the Cricut. It is a great investment I think that will really help you create more creative pages and cards.

The only downside I will say is that the cartridges are so expensive. I have found mine on sale so far so that has been lucky. Each cartridge comes with an instructional booklet with information on that specific one. It also gives you an idea for a project.

I have found that the internet has been a great resource for information on the cricut including videos on how to use different features and how to make different projects.
